In June 2010 the following people were elected to positions on the Karen Lewis slate.  Now they have two paid positions, while hundreds of teachers and PSRPs don't even have ONE!

We have been lied to by the "Rotten to the CORE" team.

  • Karen Lewis, President – NOW CTU President and IFT Vice President (salary and benefits – more than $300,000)
  • Jackson Potter, Trustee - NOW both trustee and Staff Coordinator (paid more than $100,000)
  • Sara Echevarria, Trustee - NOW trustee and Field Services Director (more than $100,000)
  • Eric Skalinder, Trustee - NOW Trustee and Parliamentarian with NO accreditation to be one
  • Carol Caref, Area (A) Vice President - NOW Area VP and Quest Coordinator (more than $100,000)
  • Norine Gutekanst, Area (C) Vice President - NOW Area VP and Organizing Coordinator (more than $100,000)
  • Xian Barrett, HS Functional Vice President - NOW Func. VP and Legislative Coordinator (more than $100,000)
  • Joseph McDermott, HS Functional Vice President - NOW Func. VP and HS Member and Aldermanic Outreach Coordinator (more than $100,000)
  • Nathan Goldbaum, Elem. Functional VP. - NOW Func. VP and Member Communications (more than $100,000)
  • Annette Rizzo, Elem. Functional VP. - NOW both Func. VP and Health and Benefits Coordinator (more than$100,000)

Karen Lewis is our biggest (mis)leader!!!  She's more concerned with leading demonstrations and padding her own pocket than ushering in real change.

Where is OUR social justice?

Demand an immediate election for the seven positions -- area VPs and functional vice presidents -- listed above. Throw out the double dippers TONIGHT!

Demand accountability, transparency and honesty from Karen Lewis.
